White Oak - Warmer Door Part L

These warmer doors are manufactured  by LPD . The difference between a standard exterior door ,as shown in other pages , and a warmer is thus. The door is 44mm thick but the core of the door has a foam panel which is roughly 15mm thick and then sandwiched by hardwood timbers with a layer of veneer as the exterior face . If the door has a double glazed unit this is gas filled . The combination of these aspects gives the door it’s heat retention qualities and qualifies for the Part L certificate.

SE Countrywide Doors has an employed fitter with over 20 years experience and covers Kent,Hampshire,Surrey,East and West Sussex. If you have any questions with regard the fitting procedure or you would like some over the phone advise then please call and he will gladly help . As a general note we use Insurance Approved nightlatches and deadlocks or Secured by Design 3 point locking systems. Our frames are made in either oak, hardwood or softwood and have an integrated AQ21 seal.

There is a subsection for 64mm thick doors . These doors are made by our joiner using three part engineered oak or sapele and can be made to any size up to a width of 900mm. They will not fit a standard frame so this is also bespoke . If you require any further information on these doors please call 0208 654 0066 or email [email protected]
